Indiana Fever Dominate 2024 WNBA Draft

Caitlin Clark Headlines Seven-Player Haul

The Indiana Fever made a splash on draft night, selecting Caitlin Clark with the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.

Clark, a standout guard from the University of Iowa, was one of the most highly touted prospects in the draft. She averaged 27.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game in her junior season. Clark is expected to make an immediate impact for the Fever, who are looking to improve on their 12-22 record from last season.

Along with Clark, the Fever also selected Celeste Taylor from Ohio State with the 27th overall pick. Taylor is a 6-foot-2 forward who averaged 12.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in her senior season.

The Fever's seven draft picks tied the franchise record for most players acquired in a single draft. The Fever are hoping that this influx of young talent will help them turn things around and make a run at the playoffs in 2024.
